Each year in southern Ontario, we feel the heat in the summer months. For some, their relief comes through a refreshing dip in the pool. As you prepare to open or fill your pool this year, it would be a good idea to consider the associated electrical system.
On a recent service call in Oshawa, Zac and Jonah found a burnt up pool pump GFI receptacle that met its end due to being overloaded and exposed to the elements (see picture below).
